2014 Tiananmen Memorial Service, Part II - Searching for Hope: We Were Lost But Now Are Found

June 4th, 2014 was the 25th anniversary of the Tiananmen Massacre. On that day in 1989, the blood of those who sought freedom, hope, truth, and a better China was shed. This video serves as a reminder of that fateful day twenty five years ago and of what transpired afterwards. Those involved in the movements all continued to reach for hope in the things around them. Some reached for education, for wealth, for successful carreers, and for continual protests for a free China. That day in 1989 is mostly forgotten, however, there are people that stand strong in the storm. In the chaos, there is no other name but Jesus that can be the beacon of hope. He lights the way and opens up a path for those who call on Him for help. As God’s people continue to join together in prayer for freedom in China, may God move past the darkness of China’s past and present towards a future of hope, healing and freedom in Jesus’ name.
